About the Artist

Never far from home, Pat Kelly is a California native. Born in La Jolla, Pat attended UCSD and received Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Art. After graduation she settled down in the Ramona, a small town in the San Diego backcountry. Pat and her husband live near the farm that his family homesteaded in 1908. Passionate about still life painting, Pat finds her inspiration close by. Changing seasons provide fruit from the orchard and flowers in the garden, together with the simplicity of daily life, inform her vision and her work. 
Pat teaches painting at the Athenaeum Art and Music Library in La Jolla, and conducts workshops at her Studio in Ramona.
She is currently represented by the Santa Ysabel Art Gallery in Santa Ysabel.
